In recent years CILT and the National Comenius
Centre of Wales have been involved in a number of projects and
initiatives relating to Modern Foreign Languges in Wales. CILT
Cymru is carrying on with this work with a range of partners,
whether it be at a strategic level (e.g. the National Modern
Foreign Languages Strategy), in the realm of action-research
(e.g. CILT Cymru Compact) or by promoting the lifestyle and
career benefits of learning languages ('Languages Work!' video).
