The Free Spirit National Poetry and Song Competition 2007
is an European Language Award winning competition which is open to pupils
aged 10-18 in Primary and Secondary schools in the UK.
There are three entry groups: Years 6-8, 9-11, 12-13.
Schools can enter poems or songs in French, German, Spanish or other world
languages.
The winning poem and song in each language category will receive prizes
of £50 or £25 and winners will have the opportunity to read
their poem or perform their song at a prize-giving presentation in London.
A CD of selected poems will also be sent free to all participating schools.
The closing date for entries is 3 April 2007.
