CILT Cymru provides a comprehensive programme of support and continuing professional development for anyone involved in the teaching and learning of modern foreign languages in Wales.
Support for developing Secondary Modern Foreign Languages includes:

• CILT Cymru Compact - working with your department to raise standards and take-up in MFL;
• Specialist advisory support for MFL teachers;
• CPD on good practice in all areas of secondary language learning & teaching;
• A DVD-Rom of training materials: Making Languages Count: inspiring success and raising take-up in MFL through the CILT Cymru Compact scheme, with training modules on this site;  
• Secondary-focused web pages on CILT Cymru website containing details of training events, good practice, latest developments in MFL, links to resources;
• A section of the CILT Cymru newsletter devoted to secondary MFL;
• A drop-in resource centre housing a constantly updated bank of materials in all media.
